Rachel Sender

This 1000-piece puzzle captures the city through its people, stories, and everyday moments, as well as through its iconic architecture. Illustrated by Rachel Sender, the image reflects nearly two decades of living in and observing a city that is constantly changing, rebuilding, and redefining itself.

To shape the scene, Rachel asked Rotterdammers what absolutely had to be included. The clear winner? Spiderman on his white e-scooter, a local legend. Alongside him, you’ll spot other familiar figures like the Sambalman and poet Jules Deelder, as well as iconic artworks such as Kabouter Buttplug by Paul McCarthy and Moments Contained by Thomas J Price.

It’s a city of many cultures, street food,  and layered stories. They're all brought together in one vibrant illustration. The more you puzzle, the more you discover.
